Since launching Territory Planner this summer, our team has been working around the clock to innovate the way our customers build, balance, and optimize their sales territories. Now, we’re excited to bring you the latest updates to Territory Planner in our Fall 2022 Release.
The complete list of enhancements can be found in the link to the release notes below, but continue on to learn about a few highlights inside of this release.
Geopointe Integration Updates
As a result of the Fall 2022 Release, users will now be able to import Data Sets directly from Geopointe. With this update, the Data Import window will now include options for importing from scratch or beginning an import from Geopointe.
This release also includes the ability to import your Geopointe Shapes directly into Territory Planner. The integration between the two solutions will continue to strengthen throughout development.
Along with these convenient import capabilities from Geopointe, the Fall 2022 Release will also allow users to export via CSV. This will enable you to bring your Territory Model data into any other system of record involved in your business operations.
User & Performance Enhancements
Since Territory Planner is brought to you by the same team behind the geolocation industry-leading Geopointe, you know you’re in good hands. User experience is top-of-mind with this release.
One feature of note is a new welcome screen and tutorial that will help walk new users through a few essential steps when getting started. The tutorial leads you through three screens that describe the basics of being successful with Territory Planner.
Performance upgrades are constantly in the works, and they make it possible for additional exciting updates. In this release, users will be able to optimize their territories by postal code inside of the Territory Optimizer. Using smaller shapes in this way allows you to build complex Territory shapes that support a much larger range of needs.
The goal of launching Territory Planner this summer was to provide sales and customer-facing teams with better, more flexible options in the territory planning process. We are confident these updates will empower you to be successful in that.
