Territory Planner Summer 2024 Updates

The Ascent Cloud team has been hard at work to make sure sales and revenue leaders have the right tools at their disposal to analyze data more intuitively and enter strategic conversations faster. In the latest round of product enhancements, Territory Planner sees a variety of updates with common use cases in mind.

Territory Planner Optimization Enhancements

When it comes to optimizing a sales territory, there are often a variety of criteria to take into consideration from a mapping perspective. For many companies, these parameters don’t always include geography.

In the latest release, the Territory Optimizer now supports non-geographic optimization with this exact use case in mind. Organizations that need or want to build their sales territories agnostic of standard geographic shapes will be delighted to work with additional optimization criteria such as industry, employee range, etc.

Ascent Cloud Summer Release - Territory Planner Non Geographic Optimization

With the new non-geographic optimization abilities, users will be able to simply set filters for their desired field values and, optionally, set geographic constraints for the intelligent automation to honor. Upon completion, the Territory Optimizer will automatically generate territories and assign records accordingly, saving time and providing more value to teams who build their territories based on a number of different criteria.

Territory Planner Map Layer Enhancements

Inside of the latest Territory Planner release, sales and revenue leaders will be able to add a greater dimension of territory analysis to empower decision-making with the new Supplemental Import tab. This new feature allows users to import shape-based data — from standard population data to more specific criteria such as number of restaurants per zip code.

This extra information might not be directly tied to the records that are being assigned, but it will provide additional insight about territory value for greater analysis and decision-making.

In addition, this release also includes improvements to the Map Layer Filtering process. The experience is both smoother and more dynamic, with filters being organized and accessible from a Filters tab and a read-only mode during the planning process.

Once filters are applied, users will be able to see the real-time impact in the tables below the map. From there, filters can be finalized with a save option, or you can go back to the drawing board.

Thematic and Heat Map Layers will also be accessible to Territory Planner users in the latest round of enhancements. These additional data visualization abilities will be very familiar to users of Geopointe, and they allow a greater visual representation of data for more informed decision making.

Additional Territory Planner Enhancements

The Ascent Cloud Summer 2024 Release boasts a large assortment of exciting new updates for Territory Planner users, especially when it comes to user experience.

Additional enhancements inside of this release include a new Map Editor experience to better support user needs when adjusting territory borders, the ability to assign or reassign data point selections in one fell swoop, and a more dynamic filtering experience for automated assignment actions.

Geopointe Summer 2024 Updates

Geopointe founded and perfected the geolocation space inside of Salesforce, so the team behind the curtain understands the importance of continuing to provide value to our customers. Inside of the latest release, Geopointe users experience the greatness of the top-rated geolocation tool once again.

Geopointe Recommendations

The Ascent Cloud team is excited to announce a brand new experience inside of Geopointe. Inside of the latest release, users will experience Geopointe Recommendations: Next Best Visit. The new feature is the first step into Insight intelligence designed to save time and uncover new opportunities.

Geopointe Recommendations will provide users with the next best visit to add to a route in the route planning phase. Route-based action can be taken in both the mobile and desktop experience, such as add to route.

Users can also choose to refresh the recommendation to receive a new route stop suggestion or select a “See Less Like This” button, which will help the algorithm learn more about business needs and desired recommendations.

This latest feature will help save a significant amount of time in the route planning process, as well as help field teams make sure they’re not missing out on hidden opportunities or overlooking customers and prospects that could benefit from an in-person visit.

Additional Geopointe Enhancements

Outside of Insight intelligence, Geopointe users will be able to delight in an assortment of other enhancements.

For instance, turn-by-turn directions can now be toggled on and off during the PDF print-out process for routing. This simpler interface will allow a clean presentation of appointments along a route to guide users using alternative means of real-time routing.

LevelEleven Summer 2024 Updates

Inside of the Summer 2024 Release, LevelEleven users will benefit from a whole host of improvements to beloved features and administration. Visibility is also at the heart of the latest round of LevelEleven improvements, which means great news for sales managers as they work to keep their teams on track.

LevelEleven Scorecard Enhancements

Across the board, sales leaders are always looking for more control and more visibility into their team’s performance. With this in mind, LevelEleven is updating its beloved Scorecard feature to include a new option for leaders with Custom Manager View.

The Custom Manager View — or CMV for short — is a powerful new way for managers to keep track of the Scorecards they’re in charge of. Leaders can now customize their own Scorecard view to focus on the metrics that are most important to them without changing Scorecards at a team-level. This new feature is great for both leaders of one team or several teams as they wish to understand performance towards metrics or high-level roll ups of all teams.

Ascent Cloud Summer 2024 Release - LevelEleven Custom Manager View

This new view will live inside of the general Scorecard page users have come to know, and managers will be able to switch between their own view and the default Manager Scorecard home view.

In a similar vein, the Ascent Cloud team is also introducing Leadership Metrics. These are metrics that are created specifically for Custom Manager View, and they differ from standard Scorecard Metrics. This allows managers to keep their own priorities top of mind, but also separate from standard metrics, in order to drive home performance and growth across teams.

From an admin side of things, this latest release also includes a more intuitive User Administration Page that has the ability to add/edit new users and managers without having to go to a specific Scorecard first.

Additional LevelEleven Enhancements

The Ascent Cloud team is always looking for great new ways to improve the LevelEleven experience, especially when it comes to driving team performance. The latest Scorecard improvements aren’t the only thing for LevelEleven users to get excited about.

Additional updates this time around include the ability to archive Competitions, as well as a simplified Google Sheet integration for Channel11.
