The Salesforce event of the year is about to get underway. Dreamforce returns in person this year to celebrate its 20th year anniversary.
The entire community of Trailblazers will come together September 20-22 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, and we’ve got you covered on what to expect from this year’s festivities.
What is Dreamforce?
New here? No worries. Dreamforce is an annual conference that gathers the entire Salesforce community for a few days of learning and innovation. It’s often considered to be the largest global tech event.
The entire concept of Dreamforce centers around attendees sharing their stories and celebrating success. Theater sessions, keynote speakers, and big-name interviews are typically the biggest draw to the event, allowing Trailblazers the chance to learn from some of the brightest minds in the world.
Dreamforce in and of itself is a celebration, but there is also Dreamfest to look forward to. Dreamfest is the annual live concert event that aims to celebrate Dreamforce as a whole. Big names in music always take the stage to headline the event, and it’s a can’t miss part of the week.
What to Expect from Dreamforce 2022
This year’s Dreamforce is poised to be the most exciting yet — mainly because folks have been itching to return in person. But, for those who can’t make it back just yet, Dreamforce will also have a virtual attendance option via Salesforce+.
Since this year’s event is completely sold out, the virtual option is a wonderful backup. There will be live and on-demand events streaming, as well as an abundance of original series and special episodes available to watch from wherever you might be located.
In keeping with tradition, Dreamforce will open up with a Keynote from Salesforce Co-CEOs Marc Benioff and Bret Taylor. Throughout the week, you can expect to experience big-name interviews with folks such as Jennifer Hudson, Matthew McConaughey, Bono, Earvin “Magic” Johnson, Jane Goodall, and so many more. The full list of speakers can be found here.
There will also be countless theater sessions hosted by sponsors during the three-day event. These give you the chance to hear experts — and your peers — offer groundbreaking insights into their own business practices, tips, tricks, and more. The entire list of sessions can be accessed here.
We know that so many attendees are often most excited about Dreamfest. This year’s live concert benefiting the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals will see Red Hot Chili Peppers as the headliner. The celebration kicks off at 6:00pm on Wednesday (9/21).
