What We Learned at Dreamforce 2025

Earlier this month, our team had the chance to attend Salesforce’s annual user conference. We’ve been attending Dreamforce for years and it’s always a highlight. This year felt different — faster, bolder, and focused on the future of selling.

After three jam-packed days in San Francisco, hundreds of conversations with familiar faces and new friends, and countless cups of coffee, here are our top takeaways from Dreamforce 2025.

AI Context is King

While Agentforce was a big topic of conversation in 2024, it took center stage this year. Salesforce is defining the era of limitless selling and showing what’s possible when AI, data, and automation work together. When sales orgs use AI as an extension of their current workflows, it allows reps to focus more time on what actually matters: selling.

AI alone won’t change the game, though. Artificial intelligence is most valuable when it’s rooted in reality. Combining AI with insights from real-life conversations, CRM data, and activity history will turn generic recommendations into personalized insights that accelerate execution and move deals forward.

Our takeaway? Context is the difference between AI clutter and AI impact.

Human Performance (Still) Matters Most

We all know that AI can automate tasks and surface patterns — but that alone won’t help you win deals. What does? Relationships, empathy, consistency, and timing. Humanity still wins, time and time again.

The show floor buzzed with leaders asking the same question: how do we amplify our people, not replace them? Even in an agent-driven era, top performers will be defined by their ability to collaborate with technology rather than compete with it.

Data is the New Coaching Fuel

Coaching used to be about candid conversations and weekly one-on-ones. And while those still matter, it’s data that makes a difference.

What you measure — and how quickly you act on it — determines how fast you grow. The fastest-growing revenue teams are aligning on:

  • Clean, trusted data
  • Consistent activity visibility
  • Real-time feedback loops

With instant insights and real-time coaching, performance climbs faster and leads to quicker, more impactful results.

Relationships are Gold

Call us biased, but we have the best customers. From conversations at the booth to our breakfast presentation with Stripe and Copart, this week was a great reminder of why we do what we do. Hearing customers share how Territory Planner, Geopointe, and LevelEleven are improving their workflows and productivity never gets old.

This week also reminded us why it’s never a waste of time to go the extra mile. We’re proud to partner with our customers every step of the way — from inquiry to implementation, adoption and beyond.

The Bottom Line

At Ascent Cloud, we’ve always believed that when data, coaching, and execution live in the same place, sales teams don’t just perform better: they actually enjoy selling again.

The conversations we had this week reaffirmed what we’ve known for years. Sales leaders want tools that improve productivity and morale, tools that streamline workflows and spark accountability, and tools that leverage AI and unlock human potential.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for breakfast, stopped by our booth, and shared recent wins and challenges. We left Dreamforce feeling incredibly inspired and energized to close out the year strong — we hope you did too.
